COVID-19

Corona Virus Update: 22nd March 2020

These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but to the people of our country, the local community and on this park.

As this is a time of uncertainty, we are closing with immediate effect (6pm Sunday 22nd March 2020) all facilities on the park.

We ask private owners on the park not to stay in your holiday caravan at this time and to be sensitive towards the views and needs of the local community and NHS. We are expecting the government to give us more guidance very shortly.

We ask private owners who are not on the park not to come here during this period, and if you are on the park please go home. We are following the Government’s guidance so we are closing to protect you and the wider society.

Thank you for your continued support. I urge you to co-operate and follow Government guidelines at this difficult time. We look forward to welcoming you all again when this crisis is over.

FAQs

What should I do if I feel unwell whilst on park?

If you become unwell whilst on our park and suspect that you might be displaying symptoms of COVID-19 we ask that you return home as soon as possible. Please call the office and notify us that you are returning home following suspicion of COVID-19 symptoms. We would also advise that if you become unwell and cannot manage your symptoms whilst at our Parks that you seek medical advice by calling NHS 111 or go online at www.111nhs.uk. We have been notified that local GP surgeries will not be treating customers at our holiday parks unless there is a genuine emergency.

What can I do to protect myself?

Whilst on our Parks we ask that as per the Government guidelines you continue to wash your hands regularly and avoid close contact with people who may be unwell. For more information please check the Government website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

I’m due to arrive on holiday on or before 31st May 2020. What are my options?

You can move your holiday dates to a later date at the same holiday property, free of charge, if your arrival date is on or before the 31st May 2020. For bookings after 31st May 2020 our standard terms and conditions apply.

Am I covered by cancellation protection?

If you wish to cancel your holiday with us our terms and conditions for cancellation are provided on our website and still apply. However, we are offering all customers - regardless of their booking conditions - the opportunity to transfer their holiday, free of charge, for any holiday departing on or before 31st May 2020.
